Peter asked to step out on water to walk to Jesus. Surprisingly, Jesus said, “Come.” Have you coveted Peter’s opportunity to walk on water. I have coveted the aged John’s testimony in 1John 1:1-2, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)…” If I, like Peter, could walk on water, If I, like the beloved John, could see Him, If I, like the Apostle Paul, could preach “in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.”
